WOW! What else can you say but WOW! Our Fueling Dreams fundraiser was an exciting success. I am proud to report that we reached the goal we set! We received a lot of support from the community and volunteers. There were a lot of new volunteers that showed up to help. To them, we want to extend a warm family welcome! We look forward to seeing them at future events! There were also numerous return volunteers helping out and keeping things flowing smoothly. Mahalo to you, we’d be lost without you! On behalf of the Special Olympics West Hawaii program, I want to send out a big MAHALO to The Knights of Columbus, to all the staff at Hawaii Police Department, Detective Walter AhMow, Detective Rene Morinaka, Sergeant Rollin Rabara and to the Tesoro crew District Manager Matt Gustavson, Store Manager Tini, Assistant manager, Noe and owner of Tesoro Capt Al Gustavson for all their help and support. Without all of them, this would have never been possible. Detective AhMow and Detective Morinaka were wonderful at organizing the law enforcement team. The team at Tesoro was very supportive and generous. It really couldn’t have been better!
For all of you who took the time to come out and volunteer, we send a very heart felt Mahalo! Special Olympics West Hawaii is blessed with more than just people who have time to give. We are a truly blessed community working together as a family.
Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo.
